About
Based in New York, Julie Down is an upcoming community and regional actor. Julie gravitates towards roles that challenge her and embody strong, independent, and driven women and has a panache for comedy. Her work includes MTI Broadway Senior Premiere productions with Lenox Hill Neighborhood House, work with the Hudson Guild Theater Company, and performances with the Triangle Theater Company. Acting credits include Lina Lamont (Singin' in the Rain SR), Zaneeta (The Music Man SR.), The Flood Monologue (The Vagina Monologues), and a principle role and co-author of The Resiliency Project. She studies theater, on camera work, and improv through The Barrow Group, Lenox Hill Neighborhood House, Scott Klavan Acting Classes, and the Jean Shelton Acting School. Prior to performing, Julie received a BS in Accounting from the University of Southern California and an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business.
